delsiins found his way into trouble

Everyone might have thought by now that Reggie would be accustomed to his own brother’s petty vandalism - or ‘talent asserting’, as he’d say. Having to arrest Delsin over and over again was getting tiring and it wore at his patience.

So when Reggie is driving back towards the Longhouse only to find his billboard has yet again been half painted over with the culprit still working on it in plain view of the truck, it’s almost understandable that his first reaction is to promptly groan before getting out and walking up to his younger brother, managing to somehow end up standing right behind him without being seen.

Unless, of course, he had been seen, and Delsin had just given up trying to run away from him. And Reggie wasn’t sure if he preferred the usually failed attempts to run, or this.

“You’re not even trying to be discrete now.”

’ Heyyyy yaa, hey ya~ ’

Bobbing his head side to side gently as
the music sang in his ears, the artist
stood back from his work, deciding over
his next move, his next stroke of his
theoretical brush or, y'know, spray can.
He  k n  e w  he was going to hear about this
later, but plenty of artists had sacrificed
worse than a stern talking to for their work.

Apparently, however, the deities
that be decided later sounded
more like sooner and that voice
Delsin could recognize anywhere
had him tearing the earbuds from
his ears and whipping around-
making a futile attempt to hide the
offending can behind his back.

"Oh, hey Reg- how was work? Did'ya manage to
get a lot of those pesky street thugs rounded up?
Good job, bro, I believed in you-“

Giving a smile, Del reached with his free
hand to pat his brother on the shoulder.
