the number of conduits he was revealing steadily grew as they
went through each city. one after another, the buildings and rubes
inside of them fell and the conduits were all that stood. seattle was
the current city he decided to hit up, the group spread out to dig up
the survivors. cole went by himself as he looked through, moving
aside a large piece as he heard groans from underneath. a quick
radar pulse confirmed this was a conduit.

whatever had happened, he still had no fucking clue.
just that he’d been in seattle, finding optimal space
for a new tag down by the docks when everything
seemed to go to hell. by now, his voice had gone somewhat
hoarse from shouting for help so, when help did arrive, he
didn’t know what on earth to do. the sunlight was enough to
handle, making Delsin raise a hand to shield his eyes before
attempting to study the man before him.

Do you ever ship something a lot but only in a really really specific way, kind of to the point where you don’t trust anyone else to ship it right until they’ve proven themself worthy and until that point you sort of curl around your ship and hiss like an angry cat at anyone who comes near you.
