What did he want from her? From the looks of things on the news, Sarah wasn’t entirely sure that Delsin just wanted to ‘say hi’.
Perched on the lamppost above him, the conduit cocked her head, silently watching him below. It only took a few moments for the bulb to begin flickering violently, before exploding and sending small shards of glass raining onto the ground below.
Of course, she could see in the dark, but him? She doubted it. Jumping down in front of him, she narrowed her eyes, crunching glass under her shoes.
“I’m not going to hurt you is an odd thing to say…”
“ God dammit-“ intentionally, it was meant to be said under his breath-
but the loud burst of the bulb overhead causes Delsin to jump. Looking
up, he squints, attempting to spot any potentially suspicious movement.
Again, the conduit bounces just slightly onto his toes when
a woman’s voice starts over the sound of glass being ground
into the pavement. “Jeeze- lady- I think you’re the one that
needs to work on the whole ‘introductions’ thing.” Brows furrow
as he begins making out the shape of the woman in front of him
thanks to the dim light seeping down the alley from the idly moving
tracker drone overhead.

He’d s e e n her, god dammit.
Now the only issue was finding
her. Of course, Delsin had only
been spared a glimpse of the
new conduit in town before she
disappeared over the monorail
tracks and into the night.
“ Hey, lady! Come back! I’m not going to hurt you just-
just going to say hi! “
Well, that and maybe, just m a y b e sap a little bit
of this potentially new and exciting power of hers.
Then again, the wisps she left behind seemed a lot
like smoke, just less.. burnt-match smelling.
